When you were born
You fell head first into the world
And you kept falling
Sometimes people reached out
They held you up
But after a time, they let go
Other times, people let you fall
You slip through their fingers
Time to time,
You'll hit the earth with a dull thud
You'll stay grounded,
Feet firmly planted,
But,
Never for long
Soon, you have to fall again
You build up the courage
And jump.
Then you're falling
You fall faster
Spiralling out of control
And just when you think,
You can't fall anymore
There's somebody waiting...
Waiting to catch you
But those who really love you
They won't catch you
They'll let y
There once was an ordinary box. Brown in colour, with an address neatly scrawled across the top. Now this box was so ordinary nobody seemed to care about it and this is how the box became lost. It was a windy day in June when the box got lost in the mail. The mail man was a clueless, old fellow who always delivered mail at eleven AM sharp. Not once was he late, but as he was a clueless old man, he sometimes delivered the mail to the wrong house, or forgot a letter back in the mail room. I'm sure you're wondering why we're concentrating so much on this particular mail man. Well, it's all quite simple. This mail man, who's name was John, is the
Lightening flashed across the sky. Thunder rattled the thin walls of the house. A small face peered out into the storm. A tiny nose pressed against the window. Hot breath causing the glass to fog up. Little Ella Roberts giggled as forked lightening seemed to leap out of the sky. The red and orange hues of the late afternoon sky danced as rain blurred the horizon. Ella stood, stretching. Silently, she pulled on her battered rain boots. Tugging on her older brother's baggy sweater, and slapping on her old, yellow rain hat, Ella slipped out the door. Once outside in the rain, Ella let loose a laugh. With rain, came freedom. Drops of rain splashe
They say the world is changing

All bad thoughts have been swept
Black and white no longer exist
There's no need to enlist
We have dutifully created peace
There's no need for any more police
These thoughts are all very nice
But they're just there to entice
And I'll tell you now, they're not true
There's no perfect place for me or you
This sad sweet world hasn't changed
The government's completely deranged
I still see homeless people in the street
I still hear about those children who were beat
Some people still aren't accepted

The Stories Have Stolen Them
Every love story it's the same old thing
Someone's tuggin' on that poor girl's heart strings
There's a Romeo or maybe Prince Charming
Who has a smile, that's quite disarming
There's a fair maiden or a princess
Who's caught up in a lot of distress
Charming to the rescue, Romeo too!
Whoever's in trouble, they know what to do
Then there's the villain, who really is scary
There's got to be a helper, maybe a fairy
The villain is vanquished, no doubt about that
There never was any need for vicious combat
Now the Princess and Prince ride off in the sunset
Singing the world's most perfect duet
I wonder, oh how I wonder where Charming ha
